[2010].

The R/V Brooks McCall departed on Aug. 3, 2010 from Fourchon, La. to collect data in the Gulf of Mexico, Mississippi Canyon. From Aug. 10 to Aug. 11 2010, water samples were collected at 6 stations (BM169--BM174) for particle size distribution measurements using the LISST-100X particle counter, a total of 112 LISST samples were analyzed, including duplicates. Samples at depths of elevated fluorescence or other significance were selected from the CTD trace for fluorescence intensity ratio measurements and analyzed using a Quantech Life Sciences fixed wavelength fluorometer. All stations showed low small particle concentrations at all depths.
